"Wake Up!!" Block Party

The Black Student Union and Iota Phi Theta present to you "WAKE UP!!" Block Party!! Come out and play games, enjoy music and performances from student organizations and dance troupes, win prizes, sign up for community service, register to vote, and just have plain fun right before our home football game against Charleston Southern. This event will be held on Saturday September 19th from 12pm-5pm at The Marshall Center Amphitheatre (outside the Marshall center). There will be free food and GREAT food being sold by vendors featured in the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival so please support our Black businesses. (*bring money). Please attend our GENERAL BODY meeting tomorrow at 5pm in MSC 3711 where we will be having an open discussion on the issues that we face as Black students and what ways we can become more involved in order to aid our communities.

**We will be collecting school supplies and canned goods throughout this week and at the event. Donations will go to YEA!, Grant Park community center, and Second Harvest.
