The Origins of the Word Ghetto
This is a documentary investigating the meaning of the word 'Ghetto', from its origins in Italy to the many connotations it has today.
This is just a 10 minute snippet of the documentary, which looks to very interesting and enlighten to members of all races, it looks like it may be offensive to some; but it is important for us as educated people to experience all views.
Make sure to watch this and give feedback. We plan on having a discussion on the term ghetto and how American society (and the African American people) has warped the connotation of the term, "Ghetto"
